Valeport presents a variety of integrated instrumentation packages designed to provide high-quality data, whatever the application. Valeport’s unique digital signal processing techniques use fuzzy logic to pick out and lock onto the genuine echo, while automatic power and gain control means that erroneous echoes are minimized and accurate readings can be made in water depths as shallow as 30cm. As a stand-alone altimeter, this technology is ideal for integration into bathymetry packs. Combining the technology with integral GPS receiver and onboard data logging provides our echosounders with the benefits of maximum versatility and minimal deployment time.

Valeport's VA500 Altimeter delivers a new solution for the ROV, AUV and Hydrographic community to the problem of underwater positioning.
With an optional high-accuracy pressure sensor (0.01%) as used in the miniIPS, it becomes an unbeatable package. State of the art signal processing offers unrivalled range and performance from a 500kHz transducer. Expect millimeter precision, 0.1m – 100m range, RS232/RS485/0-5V & 0-10V analogue outputs with a wide range power supply in a compact, robust package.
State of the art signal processing technology provides stable, repeatable readings while allowing the range to be extended to unrivalled distances for a 500kHz altimeter.
The miniIPS is a precision underwater pressure sensor; 0.01% accuracy, a titanium housing and a choice of pressure ranges make it a cost-effective solution for offshore engineers, vehicle pilots and other operators who require highly accurate depth information in real-time.
The miniIPS is also compatible with Valeport’s MIDAS BathyPack and BathyLog software, allowing the depth data to be continually updated for Density variations in the water column.
The pressure sensor fitted to the miniIPS is a temperature compensated piezo-resistive sensor, which delivers the performance previously only available from a resonant quartz sensor at a more cost-effective price. It also brings the added advantages of long-term stability, allowing longer intervals between calibration, and a smaller and more robust construction; complex and vulnerable arrangements of diaphragms and oil filled capillaries & reservoirs are therefore no longer necessary..
uvSVX - Sound Velocity, Temperature and Pressure with Calculated Salinity & Density for Underwater Vehicles
Designed for underwater vehicles where space is at a premium, the compact uvSVX features Valeport’s Time of Flight technology that delivers SVP with calculated salinity and density data.
Interchangeable Pressure Sensors - Easily changed to match any operational depth requirement.
This advanced, calibrated pressure module, is quickly and easily changed in the field, using the Valeport supplied adapter and without opening the instrument. Delivering accuracy to 0.01%, the interchangeable pressure transducer is available in 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 600 Bar variants.
Using the latest developments in digital sensor technology the new uvSVX is lightweight, housed in titanium with a depth rating of 6000m and delivers reliable, accurate performance under all conditions.
mini IPS2 Smart Underwater Pressure Sensor
With accuracy to 0.01%, the miniIPS2 offers a cost-effective solution with highly accurate depth information in real-time. Key to the design is the unique interchangeable pressure module that allows users to change pressure transducers for maximizing operational specific depth requirements. This innovative pressure module, with integral calibration, can be easily changed in a couple of minutes without opening the instrument and is available in 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 600 Bar variants.
