FLASHER BEACONS
Minibeacon Pressure Switch Adapter

The NOVATECH Minibeacon pressure switch adapter is an add-on pressure switch that can be used with any NOVATECH Mini series beacon. It can be submerged for long periods of time in ocean depths up to 7,300m (24,000 feet). The pressure switch automatically turns the beacon OFF below 10m, effectively isolating the power source, and ON when it returns above the 10m threshold.

The pressure switch adapter provides beacons using conductivity sensors with a surface detection method that is less susceptible to bio-growth. It offers beacons a longer term deployment duration and activates before surfacing, at the 10m threshold.

RF-700C1

An innovative asset recovery beacon that combines a VHF Radio Beacon, with a Xenon strobe/flasher.
This self-contained combo unit is designed to assist in the location and recovery of surface assets
and oceanographic equipment, deployed in shallow waters.
It may be submerged for long periods in ocean depths to 600m, or fitted with a floatation collar/skirt
for ocean surface tracking, with RF frequencies.

MMF-7500

The NOVATECH MMF-7500 is a deep rated, small form-factor, self-contained asset recovery strobe. A member of the mini flasher line, the MMF-7500 is part of the NOVATECH family of asset recovery devices.
This revolutionary design incorporates pure white LED technology that offers the user a range of configuration options, for both flash rate and intensity, that can be seen from up to five nautical miles.

The NOVATECH MMF Infinity is a deep rated, small form-factor, self-contained asset recovery strobe is powered by Lithium batteries for long terms ocean deployments. A member of the mini flasher line, the MMF Infinity is part of the NOVATECH family of asset recovery devices.

Novatech MMF Infinity beacon
ST-400B

The ST-400B is a compact, self-contained Xenon flasher designed to assist in the location and recovery of oceanographic equipment. The low current consumption and regulated circuitry of ST-400B make it ideal for battery operation.

The visual range of the flasher is dependent on background illumination. Adjustable intensity control allows range settings of approximately 2.5 to 4 nautical miles. The daylight OFF switch shuts the flasher OFF during the daylight hours reducing the current drain to approximately 1 milliamp.

Flash rate and intensity are user adjustable. At factory settings, the ST-400B will operate for approximately 14 days (flashing only at night). At lower flash rate and intensity up to 27-day operation can be achieved. The ST-400B can operate approximately 30% longer.

MMB-7500

The NOVATECH MMB-7500 is a deep rated, miniature form-factor, lightweight, self-contained VHF radio locator beacon. Introduced as part of the new Mini-beacon line, the MMB-7500 has been added to the NOVATECH family of asset recovery devices. The new digital circuit controller offers selectable preset frequency channels, along with a range of duty cycle options, resulting in a beacon that can be configured for a range of broadcast specifications.

The NOVATECH MMB-7500 is designed for long-term ocean deployments (up to 5 years submerged), with enough power to transmit for up to 20 days. The Mini-Beacon housing includes an integrated conductivity sensor that isolates the unit’s power while submerged and activates the device upon surfacing.

The iCB-7500 features a configurable white LED Flasher that is integrated within the head assembly and can be used to visually spot assets in rough seas and at night.

iSurface

The NOVATECH iSurface is a lightweight, self-contained, user serviceable, bi-directional GPS satellite beacon that utilizes the features and functionality of the Iridium satellite network. The iSurface offers global, pole-to-pole coverage for surface mooring and buoy monitoring requirements.
