Dimension® is a revolutionary new sonar for ROV and AUV operations. Based on patented Echoscope® Technology and world-leading software, Dimension provides unparalleled visualisation for subsea vehicle applications. Designed for a wide range of ROVs, Dimension is a unique, true, real-time 3D sonar that will transform ROV underwater operations. 

 

The Dimension is a compact sonar that can be mounted on a wide variety of ROVs. To ease the integration overhead the Dimension sonar is also supplied with CodaOctopus’ VIM (Vehicle Integration Module). The VIM subsea bottle connects directly to the Dimension sonar and provides ports for data and control through the ROVs payload systems. 

 

Using a sophisticated projector design and the latest beam forming techniques, the Dimension sonar can provide the ROV pilot with a number of 3D viewing angles for safe navigation and obstacle avoidance purposes. 

 

Dimension real time 3D sonars with Vantage topside software is a leading-edge combination that will keep ROVs operating even in the most demanding of subsea conditions. 

 

The Dimension can be supplied in OEM form for integration with subsea vehicles to perform unique 3D inspections and obstacle avoidance. CodaOctopus can supply technical integration packs and consultancy to allow the client to seamlessly integrate the Dimension.
